Sandhill Center / COVID-19 Prevention Plan

Sandhill Center is closely monitoring information surrounding the COVID-19 virus and we are notifying all members of our program community of the preventative steps we are taking to protect our staff and students.

MONITORING

We are strictly following the CDC recommendations for the prevention of the Coronavirus including the implementation of proactive measures for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and linens https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/home/cleaning-disinfection.html

Medical staff are monitoring daily updates from CDC, WHO, State & Local Health Departments.

All staff have been trained on flu prevention information and on how to identify potential symptoms for COVID-19

Sandhill Center operates year-round, and admissions are handled on a rolling basis, based on appropriateness and availability. If you are interested in enrolling your child in our program, please call us so we can answer any questions that you might have. If Sandhill Center appears to be an appropriate match, you will be asked to complete an online application. In addition to the application, it will be helpful to have any previous clinical information on a child. Past psychological/educational testing, hospital discharge summaries, or written information from a treating professional are helpful in determining if Sandhill is a good match for your child.
