
Meet Aidan Altik, MSW Candidate
Residential Director
Aidan Altik has been an integral member of the Sandhill Center team for the past nine years, serving in various roles including Youth Mentor, Milieu Trainer, and Residential Director. He has played a crucial role in the continued development of Sandhill's therapeutic milieu, contributing to the evolution of its unique therapeutic process groups, equine program, and daily activities. Aidan remains dedicated to expanding his knowledge and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in social work.
His commitment to Sandhill has made him a key contributor to the application of the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. Aidan’s dedication to higher education has deepened his understanding of this therapeutic model, blending his practical knowledge of day-to-day milieu operations with theoretical insights. This combination of expertise supports the high standards that Sandhill has upheld throughout its history.
Outside of his professional life, Aidan enjoys spending time with his wife and son and participates in weekly game nights with friends. His experience at Sandhill has enriched his sense of family and strengthened his core values of loyalty and compassion.
