Dr. Kurt Wulfekuhler serves as the Clinical Director at Sandhill Center, bringing over 40 years of diverse experience in residential treatment, treatment foster care, inpatient psychiatric hospital programs, and outpatient services. With a deep commitment to the clinical implications of attachment theory, he is a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist, trained in the innovative approaches developed by Pat Ogden.
At Sandhill, Dr. Wulfekuhler has played a pivotal role in integrating the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics with Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, creating a developmentally and trauma-informed treatment environment. As a trainer for the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, he is dedicated to equipping his colleagues with the tools needed to enhance client care.
A voracious reader and active participant in three book clubs, Kurt also takes pride in being a grandfather to three grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with family. His extensive expertise and passion for therapeutic innovation continue to make a profound impact at Sandhill Center and beyond.
